Kansas State Fair, 5K, & Family!!

We headed out to Hutchinson, KS for the State Fair a couple weeks ago and had a blast. It was great to get out there and see Brett's parents and grandparents. My mom actually came up to my cousins and hung out with us on Sat for a while at the Fair and it was her first State Fair outing...and she had a blast too.

Many rides for the boys, and they were enralled with them all. Slides, roller coasters, cars, dumbo's, motorcycles, fun houses, and so much more. Kaden's face on his first "big boy" roller coaster was PRICELESS and he had sooo much fun. I was a little nervous, but he didnt bat an eye!
Brett, myself, and my cousins 2 little kids all went on the "FREAK OUT" and we had a BLAST. Brett was holding on for dear life and that made me laugh harder than anything, but it did freak me out a few times with the twists and turns, but was fun!!!
Eating fried foods, shopping and seeing all the fun animals in the petting area was great too. The boys had fun feeding the goats, zebras, camels, and whatever else was there out of their hands. I was surprised by Brooks but he liked it all.

Brett's grandparents are doing well and its always fun to see everyone out there and let the kids just run around. They were well behaved and did good with all the travel.

The next weekend after the fair we had our annual Cooper's Cause 5K and had a GREAT turnout, one of our best yet. I LOVE being a part of this foundation and it's so overwhelming to see all the support and love we receive for the work we do. The best part of the race....minus Brett getting 3rd overall and winning his age group, YAY BRETT...was the Raelynn's Rockstar Kid's 1/2 mile fun run. They were all lined up like big kids and ran the whole way, it was sooo cute. Kaden finished with the front pack and was worn out, but he loved it and said he had a blast! (he said he only stopped one time for a second:) I was proud!!

My dad and aunt came in town to see my grandparents the following weekend and as always we had fun seeing them. Under the circumstances, which are tough, we can always have fun with T-pa! Got a few recent picts with the great grandparents and kiddos....priceless to me!

We also had our Fall kick-off carnival at our church. It was soooo nice outside and the kids had a great time too. We always enjoy haning out with the Keefer's and are so excited they've joined our church family these past few years, so the church activities are that much more fun!

Off to the pumpkin patch field trip with Kaden's class this week and then our family outing to the pumpkin patch this weekend....can't wait!!! I LOVE FALL!!!
