Still my little guy!

Happy 12th birthday sweet Kaden Lee.
I can't believe theres only one more year till the teens actually hit! AHHHHH!!!
You haven't changed a bit in the sense of your personality, kindness, caring demeanor, intelligence, and work ethic. Every day you strive to be your best. We all make mistakes and will continue to keep learning, but it amazes me your growth in character and matureness every year.
You have grown in a new town another year, made more relationships, tried new things, and will continue to flourish.
Basketball is still your one and true love, but you have grown to love football and can't wait until next year when you can play for middle school. You are also still playing baseball and got in some private lessons prior to this season, hoping it will help with some techniques, but you still enjoy everything you do. All your friends on these teams are such good people and I truly think thats why you have so much fun and enjoy what your doing.
Your 6th grade teachers are awesome and always have the nicest things to say about you. You are making all A's and excelling in everything. This year has been positive in learning but also with the staff that has encouraged you along the way. We are so proud of your grades in school, but more importantly the reports we get from teachers and staff of how great of a kid you are. Thats what makes my heart happy!
We decided to finally break down and get you a phone for this birthday. Its a huge decision for us, but its about time because of times away from us and next year for school as well. I pray that you will make the right choices along the way and we will all learn from all of this. But I am excited for you!

You made me a mom 12 years ago and I'm forever grateful for that from you! But truly you are such a sweet child and amaze me left and right with everything you grow with, which helps us as parents grow too. Thanks for letting us grow with you in this journey and sorry at the same time, since your the first one through! I will continue to pray for your safety, health and choices on a daily basis.

Kaden we are so very proud of you! Love you to the moon and back a million times!!

Love mom and dad!
