Happy St. Paddy's Day!

We had a great St. Patrick's day yesterday.
Kaden and Brett started it out by a plate full of cupcakes and a beautiful rendition of "Happy Birthday" with candles and all. We even got to light them for a second round so Kaden could blow them out one more time, he loves that part!

Kaden and I got our new Shamrock Coop's Troop's Tees on for the day and were off. He stayed at daycare all day and I'm regretting it now, but he might not of lasted the whole parade. See...they have a HUGE parade in downtown Lawrence for St. Patrick's Day and Cooper Cause Foundation was a part of it this year!!Very exciting. So the Keefer's road in the sweet old-timey Ford truck and a few of us followed behind walking the parade and passing out candy to the hundreds of little kids on the side. It was lots of fun and I'm sure Kaden would of had a blast.(it was just a little much for me to pick him up from day care, do the long parade, take him back to day care, work, etc.)

After dropping Kaden off at daycare, I headed to work, started in on my day and the delivery people called me about Kaden's swing set we ordered, so nicely, my sister ran over there since I was stuck at work with stuff to take care of, and helped them deliver it into our garage, so that's here now, YEAH!!! Now when it gets set up is another thing!!

Then I went and had my MRI at 10AM, lasted till 11AM, back to work for a bit, off to the parade, done with parade at 2pm, back to work, off to pick up Kaden, dinner w/ Brett for my bday real quick, back home, play, bath, pack, bed! Whew, quite the day. But thanks to my sister, she helped out along the way.

My MRI results came back great along with my xrays, so Dr. Randall thinks that there are just muscles that are extremely inflamed and I'm now on meds for that along with muscle relaxers, so we'll see how this goes.

Today I'm at work for till noon or so, pick up Kaden, get our stuff around, head to Topeka to meet the team at the airport and we're off to Minnesota!!! We play Fri/Sunday so this ought to be fun and hopefully a better outcome than last weekend. I'm excited b/c apparently there is no sales tax on apparel or shoes and the Mall of America is just 20 mins from our hotel, watch out!!! So until next time, wish us luck and GO JAYHAWKS!!!

Have fun at the Mall of America, I went to Min. for a dance competition and the Mall was the BEST part of our trip! Maybe you'll find those shoes for Kaden a little cheaper!

Um, Kel, when was your b-day?! Yesterday? Sorry I missed it...happy belated! :) And we're VERY excited to have you all comin' up to Minneapolis! :) There are lots of Jayhawks up here to root on the team! Unfortunately there are lots of NDSU fans too. Don't worry, we'll be louder. :) If you're staying downtown you can always hop on the lightrail to the MOA. Call me on Friday...can't wait to see you (halftime hopefully)?!
