Kaden has all of a sudden improved 110% in swimming. Miss Claudine said one day it'll "click" and about a couple weeks ago it did!! I'm sooo proud of him and it makes swimming lessons so much more fun! Today he even swam to the teacher, rolled over on his back and floated across the pool with no help, no hands holding him up to float, he did it ALL by himself. He jumps off the side to them and swims to them, rolls over on his back, swims to the side, and is getting much better at his actual stroke. The kid is loving it! I have to attribute some of it to Brett b/c we went a lot more the the country club pool this summer and we kinda just let him do his thing and not push anything and he and Brett really clicked on just playing in the water. I think it was all a mental thing and he's just doing so well. We are so proud!
The kids have also been playing so well together and have so much fun. Brooks is doing so well at MaryBeth's, minus nap time I think, but adjusting well and Kaden LOVES that his brother gets to go with him.

School started for me last week, along with cross country. So the weeks consists of school (mon/wed), straight to work, leave at 3 to get to practice, then leave to get kids by 5:30 and who knows what happens each night after that pickup. It's a LOT of stuff going on, but so much fun, wouldn't know any different way.
Kaden starts pre-school next week and he's so excited! I think he'll have a blast and learn so much more than he already knows.
Brett's bball players got back this weekend and they start school this week, so it's exciting for him to get back in the swing of things with them here. We have a lot of things lined up for sporting events upcoming for Baker and of course KU along with Lawrence High Cross Country!!!(oh yeah!)
More stuff to come...with updated kids pictures Amber took a couple weeks ago!
