"MELMO"

MELMO!!! That's how Kaden says Elmo and he's very proud of it. If you try to correct him, he'll look you in the eye, shake his head up and down as he's trying to copy you, and say..."Mel-Mo". He LOVES Elmo, obsessed you can say. So me and 3 of my friends and their little ones Raelynn, Cayman and Kiera, went to the Elmo Live, Elmo Makes Music last night in Topeka.
It was SOOO much fun, and I want to do it all over again. It was just PRICELESS to see Kaden's face when Elmo finally came on stage.
Speaking of him finally coming on stage, here's how it layed out....They start the show, some characters come out, not Elmo, like Big Bird and Ernie and Bert and he was dancing in my lap and VERY excited, then....Elmo comes out and everyone screams! Kaden's face just lit up like the 4th of July and he was in awe that he was seeing Elmo. So they dance around and talk a little and then it got quiet for just a second and during that second, Kaden SCREAMS out..." HEY MELMO" and starts waving his little hand out at him. I just want to eat him up. It was adorable. And of course everyone around us just laughs and thought it was just as cute. Geez my little man is AWESOME!!! So the show was great, we saw his other little girlfriend Kenzie during intermission, he got a book for a souvenir and off we were to get home around 9pm!.
3 nights in a row he's gone to bed after 9 and he usually goes b/w 8:14-8:30, YIKES, but he's doing well and it's all been worth it!

The other stuff so far this week was:
Monday-our first Cooper's Cause Board of Directors meeting. It went GREAT and I'm soo excited to be part of it. We have lots of good ideas and everything is getting in place.
Tuesday-KU Basketball's first game against Washburn. We stomped them, but it was fun to see all the new guys and see where we might be headed this year. It's going to be a fun year. Kaden did really well and sits next to Kenzie, so we'll be set for the year.
Wednesday- Elmo Live, what a blast!
Friday-Mommy gets to go out!!! All the coaches wives are going out in a limo to KC for dinner and fun. We do it mostly to get out, but to celebrate everyone's bday at once instead of each individual time. So that'll be fun.

That's it. The weekend will be fun to b/c I actually get one! I have no more cross country and the football game is away, so it'll be cleaning, painting a little and playing with Kaden, I cant wait.
