Ok, so I have to tell you this may be a little much for some of you, but I HAVE to share our news.......Kaden went poopoo in the potty this morning!!!
Can you believe it...He's only 19 1/2 mths old and he did it!
Well here's the story...he'll tell us when he's gone or needs to go in his diaper but lately he'll tell us and then sure enough 5-10 mins later he goes in his diaper, so we know he has the feeling and can tell when it's going to happen. My mom had gotten him this Elmo Goes Potty movie and he's been watching that a little, so we were hoping he'd catch on in the next year or so. (they say they start potty training between 2 & 3).
Well the last few times I would just take him to his little potty and he'll sit on it, usually not do anything....
till this morning.......wellll kinda.....he said it, I took him, took the diaper off, sat on the pot, he said done, got off, started pooping on the floor, put him back on the potty and he finished up on the potty.
He was all grins and we made a big deal about it and he was sooo excited! So he ran around saying he went poopoo in the potty and then got his stuffed animal Elmo, held him up and told him too. It was so cute!!
Brett said he'd rather just clean up a diaper...he wasn't fond of the poop on the floor or in the little potty you have to rinse out:) But the sooner out of diapers, the sooner we have a little extra money here and there!
K, well that's my story, (it was probably just luck, but we'll take it!) YEAH Kaden!

hey taylor was potty trained when she was 1 1/2 so he can do it!!
