A wedding weekend!

This past weekend we went to Wichita for Brett's cousins wedding and had a great time! The kids were so great and enjoyed playing and spending time with their immediate and distant cousins and grandparents.

So sad that their immediate cousins live 15 mins away and it takes a 2 1/2 hr trip to get together....busy schedules I tell ya! Fun nonetheless.....










The ceremony was very nice and both the boys did VERY well. They made it through the WHOLE thing! (that's a first for Brooks at least!) Then we went to check into the hotel and take a breather, then off to the reception.






Kaden stated that he would NOT be dancing, and neither would Kale, at this reception....well, I don't think they sat down accept to eat for a minute and were then enthralled with the dancing and watching of people the ENTIRE night. Kaden and Kale even did the dollar dance with Erin, which they don't know at all...I was impressed, it was pretty cute! All the kids did WONDERFUL and were VERY well behaved, no problems at all. The 2 little ones crashed at the end, but were very peacful doing it!







We woke up the next morning and HAD to go swimming before we left, so Kaden got up, put suit on and we were down to the pool for a bit of fun.

We took off soon after from the hotel, but just went right across the street for some HEALTHY breakfast at McDonald's and some last farwell's to the cousins. Brooks and Bailey had fun smooshing their faces on the oh-so-clean windows too! It was a great little time with the Ballard's and Hammerschmidt's for sure!

We did miss Kaden's last soccer game of the season on this Hobbits team, so that was a little sad b/c they got little trophies and all, but I know they'll be MANY more sporting events to attend over the years. He had a great time on his FIRST EVER team sport and we were so lucky to get the coach we did, she did great.
Now we'll get to do summer soccer too!
