First we went to see one of Brett's best friends, Bryce, and his wife Jessica, so that was nice to see them. We then ate lunch and then headed to the little "water park" with grandpa and grandma Ballard. It is a small little water area that has spray things, flowers that spout out water, a little tunnel that shoots water, and it was fun for Kaden. He had a ton of fun and got to run around a lot.

After the water park, we headed to the zoo. Of course we probably picked one of the hottest days in the summer, but it was fun. Especially b/c Kaden got to ride a choo-choo and was soooo excited about that! After the little train ride, the guy let Kaden go and push the "toot-toot" button so he thought that was pretty cool. He sat right up in the front and was pretty enthralled by the ride. We saw a few little animals aftewards walking around, but it was getting hot, so we headed home.

We hung out and had dinner with Great Grandad and Sharon sat night and it was great. The kids were good, they wanted to "water" the flowers out in Grandpa's garden, so a few mins. after they left we look out the window and here is Kaden in his undies and Kale in his shorts, running through sprinklers and spraying eachother and the flowers with the hose!! It was sooo cute. They had a great time and racked up the water bill at the Ballard's house that night, but had a GRAND time doing it. That entertained them for over and hour, which was great. Grandad was doing great and it was great to see him and Sharon.

Sunday morning we got up and around and headed an hr. out to Haviland to see the other grandparents. Great Grandma and Grandpa Ballard were ready for us with lunch and so excited to see everyone. We had a great time hanging out, eating, and see tons more of Brett's cousins/aunts/uncles, b/c they ALL live right there. We played out in the big back yard, ran around, ate more, napped, and had a good time. We headed home around 6pm with Unlce Dain in our car too and got home around 10:30 sunday night. So it was a quick turnaround for monday morning, but it was a good weekend spent with the Ballard family. Kaden always has a good time.

On one more note....Kaden, knock on wood, is almost officially potty trained!!! Can you believe it, well I can't. He's not quite 2 1/2 yet and has been doing great for so long, but I held off on really putting him in "big boy underwear", but he loves it. It started in Destin b/c I could really work on it with him. He did great, and only had a couple accidents. So when we got home, I just continued and was a little nervous when I went back to work, but even if he wears a diaper, he will NOT go in it. He comes and gets me in my office or at Mary Beth's will tell them and goes! It's great. The only time I put one on him is nap and bed time, and nap time he rarely goes in it, bed time, we're still working on, but does really well. I'm pretty pumped so I dont have TWO in diapers at the same time!! Save $$ on diapers! So we are SOOO proud of Kaden and he's doing great! YEAH KADEN!! Oh and he has discovered, as we were on our way to and from Hutch, that he'll tell us, and we HAVE to stop, which is the side of the road most of the time, so he actually ASKS to stop to go in the grass now, kinda funny, but kinda not when we just want to get there. Kind of a double edge sword, but definately a good thing. We'll take it!!
