The Basement is Finished!!

So we started our basement finishing about a month and a half ago, and it's finally done!!! They demoed out a wall area and then just made two rooms out of the unfinished part in the back. We still have a partial area unfinished for storage but if ever want to finish it, it'll be the bathroom. At this point we aren't doing that.

This play room is GREAT for Kaden and eventually Brooks too. We can put his slide back up and now he can have his arts and crafts area and then books, toys, balls, etc. all in one spot. His basketball goal is still in the main living area so he can have room to run, but he LOVES his room. When we finished and he woke up from his nap one day, I had put it all together and he came down to look at it. He had a great big smile on his face and said..."ohhh thank you mommy, I love my room!" So he has little play room and the other is "mommy and daddy's playroom", aka the workout room, maybe another bedroom someday! There is decorating to do now, but it's great to have it all done though and I think we'll really enjoy it.
